Monica is an active member of Skyline Chorus. She (and baritone Heather) enjoyed success with a previous quartet, including 2002 Region 8 championship, 2003 9th place SAI international finalist and was featured as the 2004 International Barbershop Symposium women’s quartet in St. Petersburg, Russia. That quartet retired in 2005. In 2006, Heather and Monica joined forces once again to form Impulse quartet. Monica’s alter ego in the quartet is Little Miss Bossy. (she doesn’t get it)

Besides being famous for her voice, Monica is known for her trademark look of discouragement that signals the quartet that she is not pleased with their actions.

The closing of the eyes, the pursing of the lips and the slow side-to-side shaking of the head are legendary in the quartet...and quite amusing to witness. "Point taken" when the look is thrown your way! Be sure to catch one of her "Dramatic re-enactments" when you have a chance!

In her spare time, Monica enjoys playing tennis when the weather in Colorado cooperates. Monica lives in Arvada with her husband Doug and her doggie Oscar and new puppy Raisinette.
