Heather

Heather is proud to say that she has sung baritone to Monica’s lead since 2001, sharing in Ms. Behavin’s accomplishments…although, to date, only two people have recognized her from that quartet. Thank you to those two people, you know who you are! She has resigned herself to being known as “Monica’s baritone” or “the tall one on the end”. Heather has been a member of Skyline Chorus since 1998 - she joined Sweet Adelines largely because this weird lady who knew her husband had her learn some songs to sing in the hallways at a men’s competition back in 1996, having no clue as to whether she could actually sing or not (not to mention sing BARITONE). She was hooked and as soon as she stopped traveling for work she joined the world

of Sweet Adelines. It just so happens that years later Heather is finally in a bona-fide quartet with that weird lady and the lead that she sang with on the corners of Salt Lake City in 1996 – Danette and Monica! She is thrilled to be singing again with these long time friends, and to have found a wonderful new friend in Andrea.
Heather lives in Parker, Colorado with her husband Luis and her three neurotic Chihuahuas (Elvis, Gracie, and George) in a very messy house...she gave up trying to be a good housekeeper since the age of, oh, about 5. She is a data specialist/programmer for the Institute of Health Research for Kaiser Permanente Colorado. She loves any form of cheese other than Cheese Nips, which she feels are basically just crackers trying to pass themselves off as cheese - she is not fooled. Heather likes to swim, bike and run her way through triathlons in order to burn off all of the cheese that she eats.
