Danette is an active member of Skyline Chorus and three-time regional quartet champion, most recently Vocal Legacy, 2005. She has been a Sweet Adeline for over 30 years, all the while giving birth to and raising 5 children. In addition to singing, her kids, ages 8, 10,12, 31 and 33 and 3 grandsons keep her VERY busy. She and her husband, Tom, met in 1992 through singing when he was a member of Sound of the Rockies. They enjoy traveling, hosting parties, singing and family time. She is an interior designer with a business called Value Builders that helps people remodel their houses to sell. In her spare time, she remodels her own house.

The quartet refers to her as the Tenor Tornado because of all the constant activity going on in her little world. Her ideal vacation would be to tour the world with her family and the quartet, fixing houses along the way and singing! A meticulous housekeeper herself, she always calls before visiting Heather! Her family, along with shih-Tzu puppy, Oreo, lives in Littleton.
